Adobe Buzzword is an up and coming challenger to Google Docs. So for your online word processing pleasure I will now compare them, and decide which one I think is the better choice.
Adobe Buzzword:
Design:
Buzzword is a flash based application that looks stunning. It's clean, crisp and makes it much easier to use. It is dark and vibrant using many colours and icons to help you find your way.
Editing:
Adobe has taken a completely different path than Google when it comes to editing a document. Instead of being presented with the basic tools like Font, font size, bold, italic, underline, alignment, lists (Bullets and numbers etc) all in one bar adobe has given you different tabs for; Font, Paragraph, List, Image, Table and Comment. They have made it simpler (In my opinion) to find options and tools. Buzzword also has one thing that Google Docs lacks, instant spell checking. If you type a word incorrectly in Buzzword a red dashed line will appear under it, just click that line and chose the correct spelling.
